Because
I Believe This

I believe in God the Eternal Father, Creator of all things. By
His Word all things are created. By His promise all things are sustained.
Because I believe this, I am never alone. My Father sees me,
knows my need, and is committed to my care. Because He is Creator,
there is nothing beyond His capacity to provide. My life is surrounded
with the guarantee of His adequacy and His supply.
I believe in God the All-righteous One, who is both loving and
holy. His love is expressed in infinite mercy. His holiness is manifest
in the absolute changelessness of character.
Because I believe this, I am relieved of the fear that I ever
need approach Him with condemnation in my times of weakness or failure,
for His mercy endures forever. I am sobered by the truth that His
holiness disallows my presumption concerning sin. His perfection
both summons my growth in His likeness and assures His grace to
continue restoring me unto the same.
I believe in God the Almighty Lord, omniscient, omnipresent, and
omnipotent. His wisdom
and knowledge superintend all things, His presence pervades in all
beyond all things, His power sovereignly rules over all things.
Because I believe this, I can rest in the confidence of His
wise design and direction in my life, His personal presence accompanying
my life, and His strong right arm embracing my life.
With such a Father as this, I can live. His faithfulness is the
ground of my faith.
